Keeping chickens is easy, its also fun and rewarding.
In a domestic setting there's nothing nicer than walking to the bottom of your garden and collecting your own fresh eggs every day.
Chickens make great pets as well as exhibition and breeding birds.
Chickens quite happily look after themselves. All you have to do to collect the eggs and ensure a supply of fresh clean water and food. Ideally chickens should be let out into an open run or if in a safe enclosed environment allowed to roam free.
